In harmony with nature and the local community.

Mountain Retreat, a 40-room hotel, is currently being constructed at Rauðukambar in Þjórsárdalur. Along with the hotel, built into the slopes of Rauðukambar, the Mountain Baths are taking shape, offering a unique view of the natural gem of the Þjórsárdalur valley.
A Þjórsárdalur Visitor Center is also to be constructed in the valley. This will house the reception for the Mountain Baths, an information center and a restaurant, as well as a cluster of small huts and a campsite at Selhöfði.

Preparations for the development of a bathing lagoon at Hoffellslón in Hornafjörður have already begun and an environmental impact assessment of the project is underway. The bathing resort will be unique in the world and visitors will be able to look out over the glacial lagoon from the bathing lagoon. The area will also feature a glacier exhibition and a restaurant.
Construction is scheduled to begin in 2027, and the destination is scheduled to start operating in 2030. Development in the area will ensure continuity of service and experience in Southeast Iceland.
