An adventurous outpost in the Icelandic highlands.

Kerlingarfjöll offers simple camping accommodation, the comfort of a hotel room, and everything in between. The hotel features cozy rooms of various sizes, well-equipped suites, and private cabins designed for maximum comfort.
In the valley below the hotel, there are cabins with sleeping bag space for groups and a campsite close to nature.
Together, these units form a small mountain village that allows travelers to enjoy the highlands in the way that suits them best and facilitates access to Iceland's wilderness in a responsible manner.

The Highland Baths in Kerlingarfjöll are located on the banks of the Ásgarðsá river with views of the surrounding mountain range. The Highland Baths include a steaming pool, cold plunge, sauna, and bar.
The water in the Highland Baths stems from a mineral spring that originates underground, in a nearby geothermal area.

Kerlingarfjöll Highland Base offers a variety of activities such as mountain biking, buggy driving, skiing, snowmobiling and more.
Many exciting hiking trails run through the area, and the Kerlingarfjöll Ultra trail race, where runners race on challenging trails through the mountains and valleys of the highlands, is held in the area every July.
