In the valley below the hotel, there are cabins with sleeping bag space for groups and a campsite close to nature.

Highland Baths

The Highland Baths in Kerlingarfjöll are located on the banks of the Ásgarðsá river with views of the surrounding mountain range. The Highland Baths include a steaming pool, cold plunge, sauna, and bar.

The water in the Highland Baths stems from a mineral spring that originates underground, in a nearby geothermal area.

Kerlingarfjöll Highland Base offers a variety of activities such as mountain biking, buggy driving, skiing, snowmobiling and more.

Many exciting hiking trails run through the area, and the Kerlingarfjöll Ultra trail race, where runners race on challenging trails through the mountains and valleys of the highlands, is held in the area every July.
